IT Procurement Analyst

The Role In this specialized role, you will manage the end-to-end sourcing of technology assets, ensuring the agency remains at the cutting edge while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Key Duties Include: Strategic Sourcing: Preparing complex bid specifications for IT hardware, enterprise software, and cloud services. Solicitation Management: Leading RFP (Request for Proposals) and RFQ (Request for Quotes) processes specifically for technical stacks. Vendor Relations: Coordinating with bid winners and managing relationships with global technology vendors and VARs. Lifecycle Management: Overseeing purchase order review, submission, and maintenance for IT assets. Contract Administration: Managing new and existing software license agreements, SaaS renewals, and service level agreements (SLAs). Requirements Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Purchasing or Procurement experience (IT category experience preferred). Education: BA/BS degree is required. Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and inventory control; knowledge of Oracle software is a major plus. Core Competencies: Strong understanding of IT hardware lifecycles and software licensing structures.
