Founded in 2017, Hello Neighbor empowers refugees and immigrants through community connections, helping them move from arrival to belonging with dignity, cultural sensitivity, and meaningful support. Our work is organized across three departmentsEducation & Community Empowerment, Health & Stabilization, and Employmenteach running programs designed to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. In addition to our local work, we lead a National Network of grassroots organizations across the U.S., united by a shared commitment to supporting refugee and immigrant families and inspiring long-term change.This is an in-house full-time, exempt position at our Pittsburgh, PA office in Larimer. We are currently on a hybrid work schedule of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday; in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The successful candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Reports To: Director of Family Health ServicesDirect Reports: Lead Case Manager(s) (for Smart Start), PC Intensive Case Manager(s), and Program Operations Coordinator. Additional reports as needed Key Responsibilities:Provides guidance, supervision and support of the Smart Start program, the Intensive Case Management Program, and supports the development and growth of the Charleroi program as appropriate.Develops, implements, and improves upon standards of practice for case management programs, emergency protocol, and client service plans Maintains a very small caseload of selected intensive or urgent cases to support the teams capacityWith support and guidance from the Director, maintains quality assurance, equitable case management practices, and builds team capacityCoordinates partnerships with multiple community agencies or partnerships in Allegheny County and other locations as requested.Ensures volunteer engagement thru regular collaboration across Hello Neighbor depts Supports the growth of the Family Health Services team through onboarding new team members, maintaining consistent internal and external communications, and advocating for work/life balanceAssists with budget management for managed programs and direct client assistance allocation and department growth Leads regular supervision meetings with team members and relevant staff meetings. Maintain flexibility and give space to staff to use their unique gifts.Reviews crucial policy, grant and quality assurance requirements with the team and ensures programs are on trackCommunicates clearly, e.g. maintains clear and updated record-keeping (financial and programmatic), and provides accurate up-to-date information for grants and reports.Ensures staff understanding of overtime and vehicle policies, approves hours, ultimately responsible for ensuring staff are paid for hours workedAdheres to Hello Neighbors confidentiality guidelines and ensures the appropriate handling of sensitive informationOther duties as assigned within the scope of position expectationsPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual or multilingual in priority language preferred (Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Swahili, French, Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Rohingya) Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years of refugee resettlement or related field experience Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading teams and working across different organizations effectively.Prior experience with teaching, training, or group facilitation preferred; digital literacy, ability to learn new software, Comfort in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, characterized by compassionate, courteous, cordial, and professional interactions with diverse colleagues, program members, and the communityImplements cultural humility and empathy in management of direct reports and client cases, and fosters team approach among direct reportsExhibits adept management of staff with diverse experiences, including priority setting, meeting deadlines, and efficient time scheduling for multiple responsibilitiesExperience in resettling refugees a strong plusPossesses cultural competencies, encompassing knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors relevant to the communities servedThorough understanding of issues pertinent to refugees and immigrantsDigital literacy and the ability to learn new softwareFlexibility and ability to work nights and weekends as necessaryEffective collaboration with others through cooperative effortsAlignment with and support of Hello Neighbors core valuesCar, valid drivers license, and proof of insurance.About You:Energetic, motivated, and hardworkingAbility to take direction and work independently, as well as collaborativelyAbility to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at a timePassion for community building, refugee and immigrant rightsCultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgroundsExcellent writing, communication, and organizational skillsLiving migration experience and fluency in other languages a plusAdditional Details:This is a full-time, in-house position based at Hello Neighbors Pittsburgh, PA officeClearances required: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal History Clearance, as applicableMandatory Reporter and/or PSEA training may be required depending on job responsibilitiesA valid drivers license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and motor vehicle record (MVR) may be requiredApplications will be accepted on a rolling basisSelected candidates will be invited to interview on a rolling basisSalary: $60,000-$62000 annuallyThe successful candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United StatesA comprehensive benefits package is available, including medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents (employer contribution per policy), generous paid time off, paid holidays, and participation in an employer-sponsored retirement savings plan with employer match (per organizational policy)Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Hello Neighbor, we are committed to being an inclusive workplace where diversity in all its forms is championed.
