Software Engineer Opportunity Make the worlds most advanced SDA O&I/GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program. Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program. Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Preferred Experience: Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Java Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices DevOps and Continuous Integration: Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Security Testing: Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring Tools: CI/CD and Development: GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD VS Code, Maven Cloud and Containerization: AWS: EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS/EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail Kubernetes, Docker Security Testing: ACAS/Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Version Control and Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence This position can be fully remote/telework, fully on-site, or Hybrid.
