Veterinary Receptionist Rice Creek Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a four-day work week. Shifts are 10 hours each, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekend hours! Key Responsibilities: Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms. Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments. Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups. Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience. Qualifications: Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.
