AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist (PR0031) ProSidian Consulting is looking for a AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist (Time and Materials) located in the Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support. AMMS EEOICPA Class Spec Cons Candidates shall work to support requirements as a AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist and provide general support services to The Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) Assistant Manager for Mission Support (AMMS). DOE-RL Office of Assistant Manager for Mission Support (AMMS) is responsible for Long-Term Stewardship (LTS) Program Management. The Hanford LTS Program is responsible for the management of the geographic areas for which active cleanup has been completed. This management is performed in accordance with the post-cleanup requirements specified in the associated cleanup decision documents. The EEOICPA mission is to protect the interests of workers who were injured or became ill on the job, or their families, by making timely, appropriate, and accurate decisions on claims and providing prompt payment of benefits to eligible claimants. The EEOICPA also provides compensation to individuals (or their eligible survivors) awarded benefits by the Department of Justice under Section 5 of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA). The Department of Energy Classification Officer will provide technical oversight of the technical document clearance process and is the definitive authority for this project on all classification/document sensitivity issues. The Department of Energy EEOICPA Program Manager is the overall Project Manager, providing administrative and project guidance, contract oversight and funding. This work shall be performed on an as-needed basis (Not to exceed 280 hours total per fiscal year). The AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist shall provide support in the following areas: Conduct reviews of information for reliability, appropriately redacting and/or marking those documents, and analyzing information to support the interpretation of the material being released. Specific documents that have been identified by various EEOICPA impacted parties shall be reviewed and released, if release is appropriate. Upon completion of the document review effort, each requested document shall be properly marked to identify its current status. All reviewed documents shall be stamped, identifying the level of document reliability. The AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist shall manage the workload effectively. The AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technical field. 8 years of relevant experience. Must have or be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance. It is preferred that The AMMS EEOICPA Classification Consultant Specialist possess either Hanford operating/engineering experience or working knowledge of any of the following areas: 100 Reactor Areas 200 East Areas PUREX Operations, B Plant Operations, Tank Farms 200 West Areas T Plant Operations, Plutonium Finishing Plant Operations, REDOX Operations, Tank Farms, and Low-Level Burial Grounds 300 Area Fuel Fabrication Operations, Test Reactor Operations 400 Area Fast Flux Test Reactor Operations. Must have been a derivative classifier and/or a derivative declassifier for the Department of Energy or a Hanford contractor. Ability to complete local DOE derivative classifier and derivative declassifier training and able to pass DOE derivative classifier and derivative declassifier exams with a score of 80% or better. Knowledge of Official Use Only (OUO), For Official Use Only (FOUO), Export Controlled Information (ECI), Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI). Applied Technology (AT) information, Privacy Act information, and other sensitive types of information. Normal expected reading rate: 40 pages an hour. U.S. citizenship. Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy - Richland Operations Office, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
