Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic Surgery Location: South Carolina Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Days + On Call Start Date: 03/02/2026 End Date: Ongoing (6-month contract) Position Details: Patient Population: Adults Setting: Acute Care Hospital OR, Inpatient & Outpatient Responsibilities: First assist in cardiothoracic surgery, vein harvesting, suturing, pre- and post-operative surgical care, inpatient rounding, ICU coverage, and clinic duties Required Procedures: Open heart surgery first assist, vein harvesting, ICU and surgical patient management EMR System: Epic Support Staff: 4 physicians, 7 mid-level providers Days Per Month: Minimum 3 weeks per month required On-Call/Weekends: Weekday call 5%; weekend ER call 75% Schedule Details: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM OT applies after 8 hours daily Call coverage as scheduled Submission Requirements: Active South Carolina PA license Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience ACLS certification DEA license Clean background / MP history Join us today! by Jobble
