Schedule Model Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM No call requirement Estimated credentialing timeframe: days Practice Overview Hospital-based pathology laboratory Laboratory certifications: CLIA and NYS Level III Trauma Center EMR: EPIC / Beaker Team Structure: 4 Pathologists 5 Histotechnologists 1 Pathology Assistant 2 Cytotechnologists Other pathologists present during coverage Equipment includes: ThinPrep Integrated Imager (Hologic) Cryostat Avantik QS12UV / QS II Microscopes Nikon Eclipse E400, Olympus BX41 Clinical Scope General Anatomic Pathology Surgical Pathology (approx. 13,000 specimens annually) Cytology (approx. 3,000 specimens annually) Frozen section analysis Grossing own specimens Cutting own frozen sections on cryostat GYN cytology (Cytology proficiency exam required) ThinPrep preparation method No supervision of other providers required.
