Administrative Clerk IV Akima Infrastructure Protection (AIP) is looking for an Administrative Clerk IV who is responsible for day-to-day payroll entry operations and office procedures to ensure critical business processes flow continually in Miami, FL. Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll for over four hundred detention officers. Identify and correct timesheet issues before they become payroll discrepancies. Ensure deliverable reports are submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain detention supervisor administrative in box. Maintain accurate payroll records of receipts. Accurately reconcile processed work by comparing weekly/monthly reports verifying entries. Answering the phone and responding to emails in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned. Maintain office inventory. Qualifications: US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years. The incumbent must have a minimum of one year payroll experience. 1-year associated degree in accounting in lieu of experience. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent. Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record). Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance. Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests. At least 21 years of age. Possess a valid state driver's license. The incumbent must be trustworthy. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles, with a cross-cultural perspective. Maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States. Strong verbal communication skills. Work where it matters.
