Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides medical care in collaboration with a supervising physician within a Neurology practice. This Advanced Practice Provider maintains an independent clinic schedule. The role includes participation in a rotating call schedule and offers eligibility for a monthly productivity-based bonus. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Assess patient health status, wellness, and compliance with treatment plans to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Provide acute and chronic neurological care including patient histories, physical examinations, monitoring therapies, administering medications and injections, and performing minor procedures Triage patient calls and evaluate concerns both in person and via phone Respond to medical emergencies, including the use of CPR Accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in the medical record Educate patients and families and ensure continuity of care Participate in hospital rounds and respond to after-hours and weekend calls as scheduled Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Maintain strict patient confidentiality Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements: Current Arizona Physician Assistant license with NCCPA certification National certification as approved by the Arizona APRN Board (for Nurse Practitioners) Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (BA/BS required, MS preferred) OR accredited Nurse Practitioner program CPR and ACLS certification Experience as a Neurology PA or NP required If you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered, please apply with your most updated Resume/CV.
