Job Details Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse Role Type: Travel Nurse – ICU travel assignment Location: Maple Grove, MN 55369 (Greater Minneapolis area) Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: June 22, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Hours per Week: 36 (36-hour guarantee) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On Call: No call required Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 – $2,180 (based on experience and assignment details) Qualifications / Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care / ICU RN experience (adult ICU preferred) At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (travel nurse ICU experience preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or Compact RN licensure eligibility BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) Telemetry training and strong cardiac telemetry interpretation skills Proficient in IV insertion, central line care, and vascular access management Experience with Epic EMR required Submission of detailed work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and 2 supervisory references with dates of employment Clinical Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care per hospital policy and critical care nursing standards Monitor and interpret telemetry, administer medications, titrate drips, and perform advanced critical interventions as needed Manage IVs, central lines, and other vascular access devices with best-practice infection control Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and ancillary staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR Promote a safe, patient-centered environment and adhere to ICU protocols and quality initiatives Why Maple Grove / Location Highlights Maple Grove is a thriving Minneapolis suburb offering excellent amenities, parks, dining, and outdoor recreation.
