Health Saviours is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Culver City, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN in the stepdown unit at Southern California Hospital at Culver City provides intermediate care to stable patients requiring close monitoring, specialized nursing interventions, and frequent vital sign checks. This role involves managing complex conditions, administering medication, collaborating with physicians, and supporting recovery, bridging the gap between ICU and general ward care. Key Responsibilities (Stepdown/Progressive Care): Patient Monitoring: Perform continuous assessments and monitor vital signs for patients with conditions such as recovering from cardiac events, infections, or requiring specialized care. Acute Care Management: Manage patients who do not require full ICU support but still need higher-level observation and interventions, including potential ventilator weaning. Clinical Interventions: Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and perform wound care.
