Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of operation and functionality of our machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks that ensure our equipment runs smoothly and our production targets are met. Responsibilities: 1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend lifespan. 2. Diagnose and repair problems related to Boilers, Motors, Conveyor systems, and other Mechanical equipment. 3. Utilize CMMS system for scheduling and documenting the performance of preventive maintenance tasks. 4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. 5. Troubleshoot and repair Electrical Controls, Wiring, and Machinery using appropriate tools and equipment. 6. Interpret Schematics, Pneumatics, and Hydraulic diagrams for trouble-shooting and equipment modifications. 7. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned. 8. Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks as needed. 9. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment. 10. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a related field. 2. Proven experience in Repair, Boilers, Motors, Mechanical Maintenance, CMMS, Schematics, Pneumatics, Electrical Troubleshooting, Conveyor, Machinery, Wiring, Electrical Controls, Hydraulic, MIG, TIG. 3. Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems. 4. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. 5. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. 6. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. 7. Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces. 8. Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship is a strong asset. 9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 11. Strong attention to detail with a dedication to high-quality output. Interested in hearing more?
