Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future. Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at Coral in Northport, AL! This role involves handling aluminum extrusions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are safely stored and transported. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: Pull aluminum extrusions (up to 24 feet long) from racks using a stand-up lift or by hand. Accurately complete picking lists to maintain inventory accuracy. Strap opened bundles for safe storage and scrap damaged material per procedures. Process internal transfers and re-pull material rejected for quality issues. Meet daily shipping schedules and learn our wide range of aluminum profiles. Keep storage areas clean and follow all company procedures. What We Are Looking For: Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace. Basic computer skills for data entry. Self-motivated, safety-focused, and a team player. Willingness to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots with met guard). Coachable and adaptable to changing priorities.
