This individual will track, manage, and orders through release to the customer. The expediter requires adaptability to a wide range product range and the ability to interpret detailed information including purchase orders, packing slips, commercial invoices, export trade documents and invoices. The expediter shall possess core job knowledge in purchasing and engineered equipment in aftermarket environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Use SAP or reports to expedite suppliers for on time deliveries for assigned projects based on technical specifications. Coordinate and define required expediting-tasks for all placed purchase orders. Contact suppliers & update progress and expediting reports as needed. Confirm delivery schedules and address any delays. Maintain, follow-up and control supplier contractual agreed dates Issue regular expediting status reports as required. Visit suppliers to verify status of progress or review corrective actions. Initiates action to remedy situations within scope of authority. Confirms the warehouse personnel has the order and/or walks or calls order to the warehouse to initiate order process. Follows up with each department to ensure timely processing. Follow-up QA releases Coordinate shipping with Logistics Take positive steps in consultation with Engineering, Procurement, and quality, when possible, to improve vendor performance as demanded by schedule. Qualifications and Education Four-year bachelor's degree Experience of minimum of 5 years in expediting Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Proficient with SAP.
