Position Summary The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout while serving as a trusted partner to our clients. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In addition to project execution, the Project Manager actively cultivates strong client relationships to drive repeat business, long-term partnerships, and overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from award through final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance. Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Lead project meetings and provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders. Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and warranty follow-up. Client Relationship Development & Business Growth Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for commercial clients. Build and maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness. Identify opportunities for additional services or future projects with existing clients. Participate in preconstruction meetings, budgeting discussions, and strategic planning sessions. Represent the company in a professional manner at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by anticipating needs, resolving concerns promptly, and delivering a positive overall project experience. Collaborate with leadership to support repeat business and referral opportunities. Financial Oversight Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts. Review subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts. Approve invoices and manage pay applications. Track change orders and ensure proper documentation. Monitor job cost reports and maintain profitability goals. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain accurate project documentation, permits, and reporting. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.). OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety. Work Environment Combination of office and active construction site environments. Travel to project sites as required. Occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
