Job Description

Assistant Project Manager An established, nationally respected Employee-Owned general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support complex healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. This opportunity is ideal for an early- to mid-career construction professional looking to grow within a collaborative, values-driven organization known for delivering technically challenging work. Working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, you will be involved in all phases of construction delivery, with a strong emphasis on OSHPD/HCAI-regulated healthcare projects. Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control Support procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with design teams, inspectors, and regulatory authorities Track compliance with OSHPD/HCAI requirements and reporting processes Participate in jobsite meetings and support field operations as needed MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
