Family Medicine Physician

Family Medicine physician job in North Carolina : As a Family Practice Physician you will: Duties - Provide direct supervision, guidance, and instruction to medical residents and students rotating through the Family Medicine Residency Clinic. - Function as an attending physician, examine patients, determine need for and order laboratory test, x-rays, and other procedures necessary to complete medical facts on the case and make diagnoses, while serving as a mentor to residents. - Make presumptive diagnoses of more serious or uncommon conditions and seeks advice of appropriate consultants. - Responsible for supervision of medical students, physician assistant students, and nurse practitioner students assigned to the Primary Care Services Division, Family Medicine Residency Clinic. - Comply with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements for residency faculty, including participating in organized clinical discussions, faculty development, and educational presentations. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
