General Assembler - Earn $18-$22/hr!

General Assembler Position Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Perham, MN. We are seeking candidates for General Assembler roles. Compensation for these temp-to-hire positions ranges between $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information! What a General Assembler will do: Operate production equipment to produce high volumes of parts with exceptional quality standards Rebuild and repackage parts as needed, ensuring all components meet quality expectations Accurately package and prepare high-volume parts for shipment, including wrapping, boxing, labeling, and palletizing Verify that all customer kits contain the required components and quantities Use computer systems to maintain accurate inventory, track components, and update production records in a high-volume warehouse environment Fulfill daily and special customer orders, including requesting, assembling, boxing, weighing, and labeling parts Accurately use the internal product management system to create work orders, process location transfers, and maintain inventory integrity Prepare special order shipments by generating labels and packing lists through EDI websites. Process shipments via UPS or LTL freight, and send ASNs through EDI once tracking numbers are available Manage material requests for upcoming orders (36 weeks out) and coordinate backordered materials for build and shipment when available What you need to be a General Assembler: Must have proven longevity and consistent work history. No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years. Mechanically inclined candidates strongly preferred Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations Ability to stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations Strong ability to understand and retain instructions and job functions Proficient in using pneumatic and basic hand tools for assembly and packaging Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Click APPLY NOW to complete our mobile-friendly, online application.
