RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Government Cost Efficiency Consultant | Executive Consultant/SME III [MontCo0012011] Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across government operations. Assess procurement processes, vendor agreements, and financial workflows to eliminate inefficiencies. Advise stakeholders on financial reform and resource reallocation. QUALIFICATIONS Desired Qualifications For Government Cost Efficiency Consultant | Executive Consultant/SME III [MontCo0012011] (MontCo0012011) Candidates: Expertise in public sector budgeting, cost-reduction methodologies, and operational efficiency strategies. Experience with government compliance standards and administrative operations. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's in Public Administration, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum of 7 years experience in financial consulting for government or large institutions. SKILLS REQUIRED Cost analysis, process improvement, government procurement knowledge, Lean Six Sigma, advanced Excel and BI tools. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, leadership, fiscal responsibility, policy alignment. ANCILARY DETAILS OF THE ROLES May lead stakeholder workshops or training sessions focused on financial best practices. Expected to deliver formal efficiency audits and quarterly reports to senior officials. OTHER DETAILS Must be familiar with NAICS 541611 standards and reporting requirements. Experience working with county-level departments is a plus.
