Fleet & Safety Compliance Manager

DC Enclosures, Inc., a residential construction company based in Kennesaw, Georgia, is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Fleet & Safety Compliance Manager to oversee fleet compliance, vehicle maintenance coordination, OSHA compliance, safety enforcement, equipment oversight, and company-issued technology systems. This role ensures our fleet of more than 20 vehicles, trailers, job sites, and field employees remain compliant, organized, and inspection-ready at all times. This is a high-accountability leadership position requiring strong organization, mechanical aptitude, and the confidence to enforce company policies. Key Responsibilities Fleet & Vehicle ComplianceManage fleet inspection and compliance systems including Whip Around and LinxupVerify daily driver inspection reports are completed and documentedSchedule and coordinate all vehicle and trailer maintenanceSet up service appointments and ensure timely repair completionTrack preventive maintenance schedulesMaintain registrations, tags, titles, and insurance documentationEnsure trucks and trailers remain DOT compliant and inspection-readyMonitor driver MVR recordsIssue internal citations for safety or compliance violations Fleet OperationsPick up and transport containers from job sitesMove trailers and equipment between locationsPerform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairsEnsure vehicles and equipment are properly secured and maintainedMaintain forklift and skylift inspections and certificationsKeep trailers in full compliance and safe operating condition Technology & ReportingManage company-issued cell phones and tabletsEnsure devices are assigned, operational, and compliant with reporting requirementsEnforce completion of digital driver and safety reportsMaintain organized digital and physical compliance documentation Safety & OSHA OversightMaintain all team members in OSHA complianceConduct and verify weekly safety meetingsOversee new employee safety onboarding coursesConduct routine jobsite safety inspectionsMaintain subcontractor Certificates of InsuranceReview and enforce company safety policiesIdentify risks and implement corrective action plansInventory, select, and ensure proper use of required safety equipmentMonitor and maintain adequate stock of PPE and jobsite safety materials Required QualificationsOSHA 30 Certification requiredClean Motor Vehicle RecordClean background checkExperience in fleet management, construction safety, or compliance oversightStrong organizational and documentation skillsMechanical aptitude and basic repair knowledgeAbility to work in both office and field environmentsStrong communication and enforcement skills CDL License preferred. Additional compensation may be offered for CDL holders. Compensation Base Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience Performance Bonus Potential: Up to $5,000 to $10,000 annually Bonus criteria may include zero out-of-service violations, full vehicle inspection compliance, full weekly safety meeting completion, no expired registrations or certifications, and successful audit performance.
