Patient Financial Services Representative The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting a patient financial services representative for a healthcare client in the San Antonio area. This is a temporary assignment that is anticipated to last about three months. The role is Monday through Friday with eight-hour days. The position is onsite and no candidates outside of the San Antonio area will be considered at this time. Responsibilities include: Providing back up for business office functions, providing work coverage for the various operational work units in the healthcare organization. Support billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry functions. Providing training to Associates on the organization's processes as required by the Manager to support new and existing Associates. Provides back up coverage and support for various positions within the organization as assigned. Provides coaching and mentoring for associates on transactional processes assigned by the manager. Requirements include: Two years of experience with insurance billing, collections, payment, and reimbursement verification. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Prior healthcare/hospital experience preferred. US citizen or current work authorization. Ability to complete any required background checks or other screening.
