LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Having WORKDAY skills have the advantage! Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and organized HR Generalist to join our HR Department in the transportation industry. This role will focus on developing, executing, and optimizing human resources strategies while offering uncommon support. The ideal candidate has a strong human resources background, excellent analytical communication skills, and a passion for implementing people strategies in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform various daily functions of the human resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Provide guidance on human resources operational issues, employment law, and develop new programs and initiatives to meet management needs. Coordinate the recruitment process by posting job ads, organizing resumes and job applications, scheduling job interviews, and assisting in the interview process. Facilitate the new hire orientation process to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures. Address employee queries pertaining to HR-related matters such as benefits, leaves, and payroll. Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries. Assist in the performance review process, coordinating evaluations and ensuring timely completion. Coordinate and support training sessions and seminars. Identify training needs for teams and individuals. Maintain up-to-date records of all employees. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements. Ensure the organization's HR policies and procedures are followed and updated as necessary. Facilitate exit interviews and ensure the return of all company property. Assist in the preparation of reports related to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.). Assist in special HR projects, including research and presentations. Career-level professional within field. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience.
