Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting focused on supporting students with diverse developmental and physical needs. This contract position is based in Canandaigua, NY, with the primary work location at a school site in Fairport, NY. The role involves delivering specialized OT interventions to middle school-aged students through young adults up to 22 years old. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to each students needs Support students with multiple disabilities, including Autism, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into educational programming Conduct regular assessments and document student progress according to school and regulatory standards Provide hands-on therapy sessions, adaptive strategies, and assistive technology guidance as appropriate Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience preferred Demonstrated ability to work with children and young adults with multiple disabilities and neurological conditions Strong communication skills to coordinate care with educators and families Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain thorough documentation Flexibility and professionalism to work within school schedules and contractual timelines Position Details: Contract Duration: Immediate start through 6/26/26 Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week) Location: Primarily at Creekside School, Fairport, NY Caseload Focus: Middle school age to 22 years, with disabilities including Autism, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and TBI This assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the educational environment by supporting students with significant needs.
