Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $29-49 per hour

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Staff A large, high-acuity hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for multiple Med/Surg direct-hire openings. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who want to grow in a fast-paced, modern healthcare environment with strong clinical support and diverse patient populations. RNs in these roles will provide comprehensive nursing care across a variety of Med/Surg units, including acute infections, chronic disease management, post-surgical recovery, and short-stay surgical patients. Nurses will be assigned a home unit but should be comfortable floating frequently to support the needs of the hospital. Ideal candidates have acute-care RN experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and familiarity with high-acuity settings. Experience in large hospitals (~900 beds), Trauma Level I or II, or travel RN experience is strongly preferred. Epic experience is required. These positions offer competitive compensation, relocation assistance, and up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Pay Structure: ASN: $28.66-$47.29/hr BSN: $30.66-$49.29/hr Bonuses & Incentives: Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus Relocation assistance available Experience Requirements: Acute-care RN experience required Preference for large hospital experience (~900 beds) Trauma Level I or II experience strongly desired Epic experience required Travel RN or multi-hospital experience is a plus Strong float experience preferred; clinicians will float often Available Med/Surg Units: 1 South (22 beds): Acute infections, chronic disease complications 2 North Extended (24 beds): Short-stay surgical patients (Gyn/Onc, Urology, GI); strong mentorship and precepting 5 South (22 beds): General medical patients, infections, comorbidities 6 Medical (36 beds): Acute medical conditions, infections, multi-system cases 7 Medical (36 beds): High-acuity med/surg with diverse patient population 5 Surgical (36 beds): Post-op general surgery and colorectal patients Shifts: Multiple Med/Surg shifts available based on unit placement.
