What we produce here is found in a wide assortment of end products, such as truck cabs, cookware, and construction materials. We also produce brazing sheet used by auto manufacturers to make evaporator and condenser components. Over 400 customers use our product for a variety of consumer goods. All About Maintenance: As an employee working in our maintenance department, you help support our production departments by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines they use in their day-to-day. You could end up in either Cast House/Plate Maintenance, Cold Mill/Mill Finish Maintenance, or Hot Mill Maintenance departments. Safety is our number one value. We will provide you with all the PPE and training you need to perform your job safely. Please note this position is considered safety sensitive. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities of Industrial Mechanics: Carrying out gas metal arc welding (GMAW), to manufacture items and components. Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures. Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions Using computer programs to design structures. Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments Dismantling metal structures Benefits Package: Strong base salary with variable quarterly bonus program Generous Health Benefits beginning day 1!
