Customer Service Representative II The Customer Service Representative II performs all Customer Service Representative I duties while operating with minimal supervision as a self-sufficient contributor. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, warehouse, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: Regularly review delivery status of open orders and correspond with customers and sales representatives. Review sales orders for accuracy (pricing, item codes, quantities, and special instructions). Facilitate credit release of orders when necessary. Track and expedite incoming materials with vendors to fulfill customer orders. Provide customers with updates regarding orders, back orders, delivery ETAs, claims, and credit memos. Communicate with the warehouse regarding shipment details (delivery dates, special instructions, etc.). Create purchase requisitions for inventory replenishment and customer-specific orders. Check inventory availability for customers and sales representatives. Assist customers and sales team with order tracking, back orders, pricing, and inventory-related inquiries. Work overtime as required (overtime may be mandatory). Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Position Qualifications & Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Associate Degree preferred Experience: Three (3) to eight (8) years of relevant experience Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills required Experience with business-related software programs; SAP preferred Demonstrated relationship-building skills with customers Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments Ability to gain knowledge of manufacturing technology Interest in developing outside sales experience Supervisory Responsibilities: None Work Environment: Busy, shared office space Travel: None
