Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Reliant Healthcare Group is dedicated to unlocking the full potential in every child. We are actively seeking experienced, compassionate, and motivated Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our growing pediatric team. To support your worklife balance, our Intake Team thoughtfully builds caseloads near your home to help minimize drive time and maximize the time you spend doing what you love helping children grow. COTA responsibilities: Assess, develop, and implement occupational therapy treatment plans with measurable goals written by a licensed Occupational Therapist. Engage patients with fun, age-appropriate games and activities to keep them motivated. Coordinate with team members to ensure quality care. COTA qualifications: Certification as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and valid state license to practice in Texas. Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time. Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently. Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment. Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means. Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.
