Food Service Director

JOB VACANCY Food Service Director The Farrell Area School District is accepting applications for Food Service Director. The potential candidate will be responsible for all aspects of food service operation including but not limited to: providing appealing and nutritious meals in a safe, cost-effective manner, plan and implement menus that comply with Federal guidelines, monitor and enforce safety and HAACP procedures, purchase and provide all food and supplies for the district, maintain a monthly operating report and reconcile profit/loss statements, prepare annual applications and comply with all regulations for NSLP, SFSP, CACFP programs, maintain CEP, develop annual budget for the food service department and PDE, reconcile monthly bank statements and provide reports, payroll, oversee POS system, perform financial management and oversight, keep up to date certification in Servsafe. Bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
