Financial Wellness Specialist As part of the Consumer Bank, the Financial Wellness Specialist is responsible for developing, defining, and executing the strategy that positions the Bank as 'the local bank'. This specialist will work in a designated financial center, district, and/or region, and will be held accountable for retail strategy, financial education, community events, loan production, and collaboration within the bank. This role is also responsible for the adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures including BSA, Check 21, CIP, CRA, HMDA, Reg B, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance, and the Patriot Act. This role will service an entire Windy City district which can cover as far north as Lincoln Park in Chicago, as far southwest as Chicago Ridge and as far south as Olympia Fields. Travel will be required within the district footprint. Main office location will be based upon selected candidate location. Essential functions/responsibilities include partnering with Retail Banking leadership and Financial Wellness Program Manager to execute consumer bank strategies and objectives to attract, retain and grow relationships, fulfill client's financial needs, collaborate through the bank, and provide a first class client experience. The specialist will identify and develop a client book of business; provide in-market support and involvement in fostering client relationships and uncovering opportunities. They will function as the client's personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships by utilizing the First Client Conversation Model. They will participate and lead huddles and meetings to support sales strategy. The specialist will consistently meet or exceed sales and referral goals as set by management, by effectively collaborating with lines of business in an effort to assist clients. They will be accountable for performance of the district and region and leadership of the local teams. They will maintain all operational and risk management standards and model the way for other associates in the financial center and regions. Other duties as assigned. Required experience includes 3-4 years client experience in Retail Banking and/or in the financial services industry. 3-4 years sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in retail environment or in a retail banking role within the consumer bank at the Bank. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in sales preferred. Demonstrated success with consultative, needs-based selling. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication. Strong product knowledge related to consumer and commercial deposits, investments, consumer loans, business loans and treasury management. Strong oral and written communication skills.
