Buyer The Buyer supports manufacturing operations through data-driven purchasing decisions, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization. This role partners closely with Operations, Planning, and Stockroom teams to ensure timely procurement of quality materials aligned with production needs. What You'll Do Analyze purchasing, usage, and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities Recommend purchasing quantities and delivery timing based on forecasts, usage trends, and inventory levels Monitor supplier performance related to pricing, delivery, and quality; follow up on late or at-risk items Support supplier discussions related to delivery performance, quality, and pricing, with guidance from senior purchasing leadership Execute purchase orders as part of an overall purchasing strategy Maintain purchasing data integrity within internal ERP/MRP systems Support inventory planning, including weekly inventory reviews and replenishment analysis Collaborate cross-functionally to support continuity of operations and shared best practices What We're Looking For Required 35 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role; manufacturing experience preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing and inventory data Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and basic data analysis Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) required, with strong professional communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel periodically between plant locations and the High Point showroom Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience supporting supplier negotiations Experience working within ERP or MRP systems Growth Opportunity This role is intended to grow in scope over time and may evolve into a more senior Buyer role as business needs and role scope expand.
