HR Generalist Location: On-Site Burbank, CA Overview We are seeking a hands?on, resourceful HR Generalist to serve as the sole HR support for a growing team of approximately 70 employees. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a standalone HR environment and enjoys building structure, creating policies and procedures, and managing the full employee lifecycle. The HR Generalist will be the primary point of contact for all HR functions, ensuring a high level of service, organization, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR partner for all employees and managers on-site Build, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations Administer benefits, leaves of absence, and workers compensation processes Maintain HRIS accuracy, personnel files, and compliance documentation Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and updates Conduct investigations and support performance management processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (California experience strongly preferred) Develop HR processes and implement best practices to support company growth Coordinate trainings, safety initiatives, and employee engagement activities Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance with discretion and professionalism Qualifications Proven experience in a full?cycle HR Generalist role Comfortable operating as a standalone HR professional Strong understanding of California employment laws and HR compliance Experience drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures Excellent communication, problem?solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment On?site availability in Burbank MondayFriday Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting 50150 employees HRIS experience (any system) Prior involvement in scaling HR processes or departments Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 Benefit offerings: include medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan.
