Key responsibilities include managing supplier performance on moderate-to-high-risk contracts, leading and mentoring teams in subcontract management, preparing and executing bid packages, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and overseeing the preparation and administration of subcontracts. Basic qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management or as a buyer, experience analyzing production or sustainment requirements in an SAP procurement system, experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), or Department of Defense (DOD) contracts, and leadership or mentoring experience. Desired skills include global supply chain experience with a focus on development, production, and sustainment, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to navigate complex issues and develop practical solutions, self-motivated with a proactive, "Can-Do" attitude, distinguished business acumen, and ability to obtain a secret clearance. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level is secret. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
