Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager Salary: $40,000 - $42,000 a year The assistant manager ensures a smooth-running Pies & Pints restaurant that engages team members, exceeds guest expectations and achieves all performance metrics while adhering to core operating philosophies. Responsibilities: Hires, inspires, trains and ensures an engaged team of associates as directed by the General Manager. Supervises and participates in the following as directed: Budgeting and financial reporting/review Food and beverage budgeting, ordering, and inventory Associate interviewing, training, scheduling, performance review, and creating a positive work environment as directed by the General Manager Associate files are 100% complete Restaurant repairs and maintenance ensuring a spotless, well repaired, first class facility HACCP review and maintenance Coordinates Serve Safe and Health Department Guidelines (including perfect inspections) Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times Creates, reviews, and submits weekly schedules Reviews and submits biweekly payroll with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager Participates in weekly manager meetings as directed Role of the Assistant Manager Create an environment of engaged, happy, and servant minded team members. Share knowledge, ideas, successes/failures with managers/associates for development. Display acts of kindness towards fellow associates and guests (i.e. Associate Birthday Program). Welcoming every Guest that might pass. Thank each guest for waiting during peak periods. Running food and drinks to help out during busy times. Figure out how to say "Yes" to the guest during a difficult situation or out of the ordinary request. Live, expect, and achieve P.I.E.S.
