With engin, staffing agencies will achieve 2-3x recruiter productivity, 40% improvement in recruitment marketing ROI, and 30% faster time to fill. Were building the agentic infrastructure for the next generation of work, starting with mission-critical American industries like healthcare, skilled trades, and frontline operations. Role Overview engin is hiring an AI Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across our core platform. This role owns the why and what of engins productworking directly with the CEO and CTO to turn customer pain into fast-moving, AI-powered solutions. This is a hands-on role for a product manager who thrives in high-velocity environments, uses AI to prototype and validate ideas quickly, and knows how to ship meaningful product increments without over-engineering. Youll work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success, collaborating directly with staffing agencies and enterprise recruiting teams to bring MVPs to market quickly and iterate in production. This role is not project management were looking for a product owner who can independently reason about the business, the system, and the technical tradeoffs, and bring well-thought-through product bets to the table. Key Responsibilities > Product Strategy & Ownership Own engins end-to-end product strategy across recruitment marketing, screening, and AI-driven workflows Partner closely with the CEO and CTO on product vision, roadmap prioritization, and tradeoffs Translate customer problems into clear product bets, success metrics, and execution plans Balance enterprise-scale needs (security, reliability, data) with rapid experimentation and iteration Identify opportunities where machine learning, agents, or automation could materially improve the business, and define the concrete steps to make those ideas real from data requirements and MVP scope to iteration in production. Continuously refine positioning and differentiation in the staffing and recruiting technology market > AI-Native Product Development Use AI tools to rapidly prototype product concepts, workflows, and MVPs Design and ship AI-powered features that meaningfully improve recruiter productivity and hiring outcomes Collaborate with engineering to scope and deliver fast, pragmatic solutionsnot overbuilt abstractions Evaluate new models, tooling, and agentic approaches that can unlock step-function improvements Reason about data inputs, labeling, model behavior, and feedback loops when defining AI-powered features including edge cases, confidence thresholds, and failure modes. Ensure AI capabilities are explainable, reliable, and aligned with real customer workflows > Customer-Driven Execution Work directly with staffing agencies and enterprise recruiting teams to validate problems and solutions Incorporate feedback from Sales and Customer Success into product decisions and prioritization Support early launches with hands-on enablement, iteration, and rapid feedback loops Obsess over real-world usage, adoption, and impactnot just feature delivery > Measurement & Iteration Define and track product success metrics tied to customer outcomes and business impact Use data and qualitative feedback to iterate quickly and decisively Continuously identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce friction, and increase automation How You Will Thrive in This Role You enjoy building from 0 1 in live customer environments You think in terms of outcomes, not feature lists Youre comfortable owning product decisions and standing behind them You move fast, learn fast, and course-correct without ego You enjoy close collaboration with founders and technical leadership You see AI as a practical tool for leverage, not a buzzword You naturally propose solutions and tradeoffs before being asked for them.
