Production Control Specialist

Production Control Specialist Company: AISIN World Corp. of America Department: Operations, Production Control Location: Franklin, IN Position Responsibilities The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions: Understand the customer requirements. Perform order and inventory management operations. Coordinate, lead, and evaluate North American production control standardization activities. Create training documents and train local AISIN North America Plants (NAPs). Develop and issue summary reports/schedules for activities performed. Duties will require interaction with customers, AISIN facilities, and suppliers. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Essential skills and experience: Production control background in the following fields: Program launch and ECI management Sales, production, and component planning Inventory management Logistics and material handling operations Microsoft Office: Excel Beneficial skills and experience: Experience with warehouse and logistics procedures. Knowledge of inventory and inventory controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. ORACLE FUTURE3 / POWER8 Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's degree is preferred or 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
