Pharmacy Specialist Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Current licensure (or licensure eligibility) by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy (ALBoP)Parenteral licensure/eligibilityPermanent licenses will be required within 6 months of placement into position Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy operations and procedures Working knowledge of practice in specialty care areas Licensure, Registration, Certification: Preceptorship Responsibilities: Ensures appropriate, safe, effective, and efficient use of medications through the application of pharmaceutical principles in order to provide optimal patient outcomes.
