Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

Seeking a locum Electrophysiology physician to provide coverage beginning July 1, 2026. Practice Setting & Coverage Location: Mercy St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio Inpatient care with call responsibilities Reason for coverage: Change in FTE Schedule: 8-hour day shifts Call: 24-hour call with a 1:4 rotation Clinical Volume & Environment Average clinic volume: 20 patients per day Average inpatient admissions: 11 per physician per day Trauma Level I facility 400 total hospital beds, including 50 ICU beds Cardiology group consists of 20 physicians, with other cardiologists present during coverage Supervision of 1 APP required Patient Population Adult and geriatric patients Procedures Required Electrical cardioversions Electrocardiograms (EKGs) Tilt table tests Full range of electrophysiology procedures Technology EMR: Epic Credentialing & Timeline Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 120 days Expenses Covered Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Rental car, hotel, and flight Submission Requirements Board certification (required) Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Ohio medical license required (will accept providers willing to obtain) NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days of presentation (required) by Jobble
