Acquisition Cost Estimator TMB has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Cost Estimator to provide financial analysis support to a U.S. Navy program office. Responsibilities The Acquisition Cost Estimator utilizes analytical skills daily to interpret complex construction documents and translate them into accurate cost projections. Proficiency with estimating software enables efficient and precise calculation of material and labor costs, ensuring competitive and realistic budgets. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders. Attention to detail and organizational skills help maintain comprehensive cost databases and track market trends effectively. Additionally, negotiation and problem-solving abilities support the evaluation of vendor bids and the identification of cost-saving opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Candidates must have at least one year of experience providing Cost Estimating support to a DoD/DON acquisition program office. Prior experience supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) undersea manned and unmanned programs and/or Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) programs is desired. Education experience: candidates desire to have a bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, engineering or another applicable field. Candidate must have a Secret Clearance.
