SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform banker activities related to guest and associate requests for money exchanges DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Maintains all money handling procedures. 2. Is responsible for the accurate balancing of the bank assigned to the shift. 3. Maintains accurate log of keys and tills signed out and returned in accordance with the established processes. 4. Assists guests with questions and information requests to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. 5. Assists other casino associates in respect to money exchanges required on the gaming floor. 6. Provides complete documentation related to money, cheques, ticket in/ticket out transactions, ATMs, TRMs, tidel, check cashing, and credit/debit card cash advances to support all money transactions. 7. When functioning as main banker or VSB banker, provides necessary monies via buy/sells and transfers to internal and external guests, including cage cashiers. 8. When functioning as main banker or while performing main bank responsibilities, the banker will accept revenue drops from the Count Team, set up and distribute promotional monies, and maintain appropriate levels of cash, bagged coin, and rolled coin. 9. When functioning as VSB banker or while performing VSB bank responsibilities, the banker will provide accurate payouts and pit fills in a timely manner. 10. When functioning as VSB banker or while performing VSB banker responsibilities, the banker will provide necessary monies to associates for efficient casino operations. 11. When functioning as VSB banker, the banker will maintain enough money to cover buy/sells and will follow key control processes when issuing keys. 12. Notifies supervisor, assistant Cash Operations Manager or Cash Operations Manager of situations that may affect guests, associates, or the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. 13. Mandatory training for Cage Cashier duties. 14. Performs other duties as assigned. POSITION RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: Frequent contact with the Slot and Security Departments, occasional contact with the Surveillance and Finance departments. External: Occasional contact with guests or visitors. EDUCATION: A High School education or equivalent is required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of six months experience in money handling and customer service is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, math and cash handling skills. Basic familiarity with PC's related software is preferred. Must be able to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 1. Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed in the Vault Department with exposure to differentials in temperature. 2. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions. Exposure to secondhand smoke. 3. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, or bend for extended periods of time. Continual heavy lifting is required. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to be licensed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Gaming Commission. OTHER: Must attend all mandatory meetings and attend departmental training and development sessions.
