Acquisition/Logistics Mgmt. Analyst Sr Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Acquisition/Logistics Mgmt. Analyst Sr is a professional who uses their specialized knowledge to provide provisioning for NGC programs that will help to ensure the provisioning requirements are being addressed and accomplished. They will work with other ILS personnel, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Technical Publications teams, and Government Provisioner's to develop logistics Product Data (LPD). They must understand the various aspects of provisioning, engineering technical drawings, and maintenance concepts in order to support the ILS team. Basic Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (e.g., Associate degree with 4 years of related experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience). Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, or a similar function supporting depot-level operations. Proven experience working with inventory management systems, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, or logistics management tools. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Familiarity with supply chain management principles, stock control, and material handling processes. Ability to interpret and analyze data related to inventory levels, demand planning, and material usage. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors, and external suppliers. Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds for physical inventory handling. Active DoD Secret Clearance Desired Skills: 3 or more years of experience in a depot, government logistics, or defense contractor supply chain environment. Familiarity with MIL-STD (military standards) and/or DoD supply support policies. Certifications: o APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). o Logistics-related certifications (e.g., DoD Fundamentals of Total Asset Visibility). Advanced Technical Skills: o Experience with SQL, SAP, Oracle, or other inventory and logistics management systems. o Knowledge of predictive analytics or demand forecasting. Soft Skills: o Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. o Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. o Previous success in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
