About the Assignment Location: Anderson, SC 29621 — Anderson, South Carolina nursing job near Lake Hartwell Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026) Setting: Med/Surg Tele Float (4 North, MS/Tele Float) — Med-Surg Telemetry unit Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15) Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Orientation: 20 hours Charting System: Epic (experience with Epic charting preferred) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 - $1,840 per week Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; pending license accepted BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Proficiency with peripheral line care/management, starting/maintaining IVs, oxygen delivery (nasal cannula), and medication administration Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management — telemetry nurse experience required Ability to float within scope to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units (float pool flexibility) COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on Med/Surg Telemetry units Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic; interpret and manage cardiac rhythms Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and manage IV therapy Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, PT, RT, pharmacy, case management, and physicians Float to other Med/Surg and Tele units as needed to meet facility staffing needs Maintain accurate, timely patient records and complete required unit orientation and online modules before start Join our healthcare team as a Med-Surg Tele RN / travel RN in Anderson, South Carolina.
