Candidate should have the following non-negotiable skills (Please ensure it is clearly shown on the resume before submittal): • Excellent attention to detail • Quality focused • Stays on task • Accountability • Work well as part of a team Job Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team . As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. 1. Medication Dispensing: • Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing. • Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders. • Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. • Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers. • Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area. 2. Inventory Management: • Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications. 3. Compliance and Regulations: • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. • Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information. Minimum Qualifications ● Indiana Pharmacy Technician License ● High School Diploma or equivalent ● Previous pharmacy experience ● Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. ● Able to consistently carry 20 – 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. ● Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. ● Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
