Remote Risk Adjustment Coder HealthCare Support is seeking a Remote Risk Adjustment Coder to join a mission-driven healthcare organization supporting the Connecticut market. This full-time, salaried role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with occasional in-market provider engagement. Location: Connecticut or neighboring states: New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Compensation: $70-85K What Makes This Role Stand Out: Strong Work-Life Balance with a primarily remote schedule Provider-facing education and real-world impact in risk adjustment Opportunity to serve as a senior resource, mentor, and subject matter expert Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Complimentary access health plan option 401(k) Retirement Plan with match Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Stock Purchase Plan Daily Responsibilities: Review and audit medical records for accurate ICD-10 and HCC risk adjustment coding across Medicare Advantage, ACO, and Commercial populations Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff regarding coding, compliance, and risk capture Support audits, quality initiatives, and continuous process improvement Qualifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) through AAPC 3+ years of risk adjustment coding experience Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reports) and PowerPoint Experience with EHR systems and healthcare coding software Preferred Qualifications: Certified Professional Biller (CPB) Experience with Monday.com and/or Power BI Prior remote work experience Interested?
