Front Office Supervisor The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for operations leadership resulting in improved patient satisfaction, increased clinical and professional revenues, improved staff efficiency and reduced costs. Their overall responsibility is for the day-to-day front office operations. Essential Job Functions: Ensures "world class" customer service is delivered on a consistent basis as evidenced by company standards and policies. Provide leadership, direction and coordination of departments relating to patient care. Responsible for personnel management including selecting and retaining staff, setting expectations, facilitating development and evaluating performance. Manage front office staffing schedules as evidenced by physician schedules. Overall responsibility for ensuring the facility reflects the level of standards set by the company. Oversee all levels of the front office, including, but not limited to, check in, check out, medical records and scheduling. Adherence to applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations. Follow the principles of the Compliance Program as well as the US Eye Code of Conduct. Competencies: Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and manage time accordingly in order to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization. Smart, results oriented and high energy professional with a track record of success. Strong work ethic, hands-on individual who can achieve long term systematic process improvements. Demonstrates extremely high sense of urgency, capable of handling multiple priorities and extensive time demands. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, physicians, staff, vendors and patients. Education and Experience: A high school graduate or equivalent Prior medical supervisory High end customer service experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technologically advanced communication systems and devices Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position located in WILDWOOD, FL Travel is required Physical Demands: Demonstrated ability to do excessive walking, standing, bending and stooping. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or control, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel and crouch. The employee may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (50-90 pounds). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
