Psychiatrist

Job Description The Psychiatrist position provides quality psychiatric evaluation, treatment and medication management for individuals served by NRVCS. Provides consultation to staff about clinical and medical services issues. Provides presentations or training to agency and community as needed. Starting Salary: Dependent upon experience and qualificationsEducation/Experience Required: M.D. or D.O. degree and a license to practice medicine in Virginia is required. Completion of psychiatric residency and eligibility or certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is required. At least one year of experience providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment to adolescents and/or adults is required. Current DEA certification is required. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
