Spare Parts 2 The Spare Parts 2 role organizes and maintains the inventory of spare parts for the site. This role submits orders to replenish inventory, enters new inventory within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and processes vendor warranties. Additionally, this role partners with internal and external teams to provide training, audit inventory and invoices, ensure departments receive accurate parts, and coordinate timely delivery. Job Description What You'll Do Organizes inventory of spare parts and equipment used in the manufacturing and maintenance of pharmaceutical products Sets up new inventory within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Monitors and analyzes inventory levels and makes recommendations to ensure adequate availability of spare parts Maintains accurate records of spare parts inventory levels, motor rotations, stockouts, obsoletion, total inventory counts, transactions, and costs using an inventory management software or other relevant systems Submits parts orders to replenish inventory and generates reports from CMMS, as needed Performs receipt inspection and stocking of maintenance spare parts Issues and receives inventory items from CMMS and documents any changes Prepares kits in advance of spare parts and tools for maintenance activities Assists Finance by conducting audits and inspections of inventory and invoice resolution Participates in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness and to support cost saving initiatives of spare parts management Ensures quality and regulatory standards are met and sustained Coordinates with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment Responds to order placement, customer phone inquiries regarding pricing and availability, equipment warranty status, parts tracking and proof of deliveries Processes vendor warranty returns and claims Operates an industrial forklift to pick up, move, place, and position materials Collaborates with other departments (e.g., production, maintenance, and engineering) to assess spare parts needs and requirements Trains other employees on spare parts management processes and procedures Performs other duties, as assigned Knowledge & Skills Effective communication, both written and oral Ability to work in a team environment Analytical, problem-solving and time management skills Detail-oriented Ability to adapt to new processes, technologies, inventory changes and demands Exceptional customer service skills Inventory management and computer skills Ability to use a hoist or crane, and power tools Required Skills High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of warehouse, inventory management, or supply chain experience Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Experience with Microsoft Office or other computer software programs Experience with inventory forecasting and risk analysis Experience utilizing CMMS Preferred Skills and Certification Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field 7+ years of warehouse, inventory management, or supply chain experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry Experience with inventory management software or other relevant programs Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection. May work in Mechanical/Production spaces that may require hearing protection and enrollment in a hearing conservation program. Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck. Ability to discern audible cues. Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color. WORKING ENVIRONMENTPHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. 120 minutes Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include writs, hands and/or fingers. Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools. Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to X pounds. If yes, 10 lbs. 33 lbs. Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18" to 60" in height, and use twisting motions. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Will work in warm/cold environments. Will work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Will work in small and/or enclosed spaces. Will work in heights greater than 4 feet.
