Security Cooperation Regional Program Analyst This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for servicing as a program analyst responsible for the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of Security Cooperation (SC) programs and their execution. As a SECURITY COOPERATION REGIONAL PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Develops and recommends new or revised program guidance, regulations, and policies to support the planning and execution of assigned SC programs. Formulates and develops program policies, goals, objectives, and implementing procedures for assigned SC programs. Conducts long-range planning for assigned SC programs, identifying and proposing solutions to systemic issues affecting program planning and execution. Monitors program execution to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, and to track program effectiveness and resource allocation. Prepares and presents high-level oral and written reports, briefings, and correspondence to senior leadership on program status, policy recommendations, and program effectiveness. You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Apply analytical and evaluative methods to assess the effectiveness of Security Cooperation (SC) programs and ensure compliance with governing policies and procedures Develop and propose new or revised program guidance, regulations, and policies based on the analysis of program effectiveness and knowledge of SC legislation Plan and organize program reviews or special studies to resolve substantive issues affecting program execution Communicate complex program analysis, findings, and policy recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, both orally through briefings and in writing through reports Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republic, and committed to upholding the rule of law and the United States Constitution.
