Website: Regulatory Affairs AssociateDepartment: Regulatory AffairsPosition Type: Part-time, 20 to 25 hours per weekUpdated: 12/15/2025 Basic Function: The Regulatory Affairs Associate will focus on supporting the registration, compliance, and documentation of bio-based products across national and international markets. The Regulatory Affairs Associate will ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and help streamline submissions and internal compliance processes. Reports to: Director of Product Development & Regulatory Affairs Primary Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to: Prepare, review, and submit regulatory dossiers for products in compliance with national and international regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations applicable to biostimulants, including EPA, USDA, state-level compliance, and OMRI organic standards. Support R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure regulatory compliance during product development and commercialization. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of regulatory documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, technical files, and registration reports. Coordinate with external consultants, testing labs, and regulatory agencies for submissions, amendments, or inquiries. Track submission timelines, renewal dates, and compliance deadlines to ensure timely approvals and ongoing compliance. Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements as needed. Contribute to improving regulatory processes and maintaining regulatory knowledge management. Other administrative duties as required.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Biology, Plant Science, Chemistry, or related field. 13 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the agricultural or biotech sectors. Strong technical writing, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functional teams.Preferred Skills: Experience with microbial biostimulant registrations.
