Building Structural Engineer - Intern

We are seeking a Building Structural Intern to join our Structural/Marine Group in our Richmond, VA office. Interns will join our collaborative team of engineers and architects on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities. WRA has a strong mentoring culture and a focus on staff development. Interns will receive training in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials. Interns will also be trained in developing concept designs and creating construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets. Requirements: Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program preferably with Structural Concentration. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) a plus. Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD) a plus.
