Title: FSQA Manager Location: North Wales, PA Salary: $115K - $130K + Benefits Job Type: Direct Hire, Full time Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead all aspects of food safety and quality assurance. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and internal quality protocols. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in food safety and sanitation practices. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all Quality Control operations to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing processes. • Oversee implementation and monitoring of HACCP and SQF programs to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain sanitation standards and support safe product launches. • Develop and manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure proposals. • Maintain and update job descriptions for direct reports and ensure alignment with operational needs. • Conduct audits of quality and sanitation programs; recommend improvements and corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment meets quality and safety standards. • Promote a culture of safety and quality across all departments. • Prepare and present reports to the COO and other stakeholders as needed. • Support business continuity, recall readiness, and food defense initiatives. • Lead training and development efforts to enhance food safety awareness and skills across the organization. • Maintain strong relationships with co-pack partners and ensure service quality. • Serve as HACCP Team Leader, SQF Practitioner, and Food Defense Team Leader. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Certifications: HACCP Certification required; SQF knowledge strongly preferred. • Experience: Proven track record in quality assurance, sanitation, and food safety in a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of plant operations, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. #JDP
